2019 Bird Walk

Birds photographed by walkers
Saturday, May 11th - Annual Spring Bird Walk

Starting bright and early at 730 am the walk was led, for the fifth year in a row, by Steve Sobocinski, a very knowledgeable and affable Burlington County resident who counts Taylor Wildlife Preserve as one of his favorite birding locations.

Good turnout of participants this year.

The Walk started at 7:30am.  A huge Thank You to Steve for leading it again this year, and hope to see everyone next year, if not sooner.

Highlights were (observed or heard) pre-walk and walk:
  • BB Plover heading up river calling at 6:23
  •  Prothonotary,
  • Tennessee and Blackburnian Ws
  • a late Purple Finch singing near Dredge Harbor
  • nice push of Cedar Waxwing (over 40).
